How's Vermintide II doing? Has it been selling well?

Independent developer Fatshark today announced that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has surpassed one million units sold within five weeks after being released on PC.

“We are genuinely humbled by the reception of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from gamers all over the world” says Martin Wahlund, CEO Fatshark. “We reached half a million units within the first week, and one million within five weeks, which is far quicker than we ever expected.”

This will no doubt be dubbed another major success for the Warhammer franchise, which continues to grow and evolve with each new title.

The game is good, but these numbers are just insane. There are even better games out there that didn't sell this much in 10 years. No wonder almost every dev is focusing on multiplayer these days.

Those are some really good numbers. Can you imagine Vermintide II surpassed lifetime sales of it's predecessor?
Fatshark must be doing something right.

I will have to check this game out called Warhammer- Vermintide 2 - this game is set in the Warhammer Fantasy Universe during the early days of the End Times, an apocalyptic event that ended in destruction of the Warhammer World.

You should definitely check it out

Are people buying Warhammer: Vermintide II because it is awesome or is it because they are just curious and want to find out what the fuss is all about?

Looks like the game is doing pretty good. The devs did a great job, there is no doubt about that.
