This is a Glacial Geek 8th Edition Warhammer 40,000 Battle Report!
The planet was infested. An insidious Genestealer Cult had rotted the world from the inside out. The Planetary Defense Force was destroyed, the Planetary Governor had been captured, and Imperial Rule had ceased to reign here. When faced with such a threat there is one answer. The best of the best, the Deathwatch.
As they landed, though, an Imperial Navy ship was destroyed in orbit over the planet. The Captain and his officers were able to make it to an escape pod after evacuating the ship and were plummeting to the surface. The Deathwatch rushed to retrieve him before the Cult were able to get their four arms on him.
Will the Shields Who Slay be able to rescue the Captain and fight back the xenos threat, or will the Four-Armed Gods capture yet another prize in their uprising? Watch and find out!
