Warhammer Online was an MMORPG developed by Mythic Entertainment and Dark Age Of Camelot lead designer Mark Jacobs back in 2008, the main focus of this game was massive RvR pvp battles and controlling zones with your faction but the game also had PVE features such as Public quests, Dungeons and world bosses, Warhammer Online was shut down in 2013 but since then a very popular private server has emerged called "Return Of Reckoning" that actually makes new content for the game, It's free to play, no pay to win and more populated at peak times than quite a few other MMOs that haven't been shut down yet

It was developed by Mythic Entertainment and was simultaneously released in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand on September 18, 2008. The game revolved around the continual worldwide conflict that the Warhammer Fantasy setting is known for, and the game is geared toward ongoing, constant war laced with dark humour.
On September 18, 2013, it was announced by Mythic that Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning would shut down on December 18, 2013, due to the license agreement with Games Workshop coming to an end. The shutdown took place as planned.
