    Chaos God strengths?

Essentially, Khorne is all about close-up damage, plain and simple. Get in, cut people open, bathe in their blood, bugger off. Tends to be weaker to ranged units in my experience. Nurgle is all about survivability, with units who have a lot of saves and durability, and function as rotting walls...

    Issues Assembling Mourngul

Don't use a lot of glue, just a tiny amount, and hold pieces for a minute or more - less is more here. When it seems to hold, don't test the join for an hour... It's still curing and gaining strength. Superglue also has no shear or rotational strength, so don't expect it to hold if you try to...

Anyone know the results from adepticon?

I haven't seen any lists but there has been some discussion. The winning list (chaos) apparently was 15 skyfires, LoC, Kairos etc. Second place death was the Tomb Kings list that won the UK masters. Not sure about others. This might be slightly off. Other comments are saying 18 skyfires and 2...

    When a General is slain...?

Only if the battle rules call for it. Most do not. If your general dies, you should wonder where your defences went wrong!

What are some OP units for kill team?

Vespids, tomb blades, multiple Piranhas, Eldar jet bikes with scatter lasers, beast master maybe?, a million termagants, battlesuit with multiple weapons.

    Nurgle & Skaven Pestilens?

From what I've come to understand, Nurgle and Pestilens have great synergy due to the whole poison/plague thing they have going on, but as someone who's completely new to AoS and list building, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Battlelines (I have no idea how they work), Battalions, which...

    Nurgle & Skaven Pestilens?

Hey guys, Didn't have much luck on my Khorne Bloodbound post, but I've fingers crossed for this one. I've gotten the opportunity to buy a Virulent Horde box, and I'd love to create an army with both Clan Pestilens and Nurgle forces (Rotbringers and Daemons both). The setup would probably start...

Question about Artifacts and Command Traits: Alliance vs Faction

There are many more options in the Battletomes and they are more in tune with the faction, making them more flavorful and slightly better than the generic ones from the Generals Handbook. That said the ones from the Generals Handbook are good and useful. I'm using the Chaos allegiance abilities...

Why do necromancers mostly raise human skeletons?

For my undead army, I tend to mix in some horned skulls and suck to give my army a mix. For zombies, in friendly play, I also have some dwarf and orc zombies from the WOTC D&D minis, plus some dwarf zombies. Also, Raleigh Parthenon had a 28mm skeleton line from the 80's that I use for halflings.

    Gargantuan Squiggoth Rules Question

in many ways, warbossess are better in CC. A warboss (with klaw) and gargantuan squiggoth are the same strength, AP, and I. And a warboss is WS5, while a squiggoth is WS2. Squiggoth is 5A base, 7 on the charge, which is only slightly more than a WB's 4/5. And there's always stomp. Squiggoth is...

    Primarch's Return

I'm pretty positive about the whole thing and I'm curious to see what other factions are going to get as balance. Rowboat Girlyman is the best choice for first back on the loyalist side like the designers said in interviews. Others will show up eventually. I'd guess it's 4 on each side by the...

    Taking photos of whole armies

There are lots of guides of how to take photos of signgle miniatures or squads. But what are your best tips for taking photos of the whole army? I feel that either you focus on one unit and everything else gets irrelevant, or you go for a long deepth of field and then the phot gets incredibly...

2000 Dispossessed Durardin list. C&C please

Keep in mind Gyrocopters are 1 per unit in Matched Play, which can have both benefits and hindrances. You can split-charge them to opposite ends of units, you can't lose any to Battleshock, but it is an extra drop at deployment, and they won't both attack at the same time.

Returning Player - Ex SCast now looking at Fyreslayers, any advice?

If that is your budget I would hold off on the Magmadroth as the kit costs 130$CAN(for me anyways) but the kit comes with the Magmadroth plus the Runefather Runeson and Runesmiter as both riders and single heros. A grimwrath beserker and some battleline troops will be a good start I think

    1500pts semi-competitive Space Wolves list

Why four long fangs if you only have three lascannons? And why bjorn? Sure add one to the sieze the initiative but Cortez lets you or make your opponent reroll the initiative and he only 100 saving 155 for him and his drop pod and what I have read most run blood claws over hunters that adds up...

Space marines tiers at this stage?

You forgot Grey Knights, but they'd be way at the bottom anyways.

Could you use genestealer cults with the astra militarum?

Both in lore and rules. GSC are allies of convenience with imperial guard and there are you can easily pass off certain models for IG or GSC

    Just Starting Out Space Wolves

2 start collecting kits and a codex off eBay sounds good. You have one of the better start collecting kits, and the wolves really pull their weight. There is never a list that doesn't use thunderwolves as far as I have seen. I would buy one, paint it up and see of you like modelling and painting...
