Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron to Debut on Switch
An incredible partnership between RedDeer Games and Phosphor Game Studio will bring another Warhammer to the Nintendo Switch. The Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron is set to roll out on the Switch sometime next year.
Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron is an aerial combat game similar to a desert storm-style air force. The game is set in a unique universe made of alien worlds against an Ork clan. Players will role-play a Flyboy or an Ork soldier
This special trailer for the Switch version of Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron was released by the studio. You can take a peek at the upcoming Switch feature.
The game begins by choosing an Ork clan and customizing your warplane. You can choose from one of three fighter jets currently available in the game.
- Dakkajets
- Burna-Bommas
- Blitza-Bommas
The next step is to equip your aircraft with weapons, choosing from a wide variety of armaments. Most are similar to earth weaponry and you can easily add an array of guns, bombs, and missiles. You are almost ready to fly over the enemy lines and bomb some aliens far north.
However, you must first gain your craft by training. You must ‘learn special maneuvers, unleash your dakka, and test your mettle against your fellow Flyboys’. The game is both a multiplayer mode or against deadly enemies in the campaign.
You will be flying across alien worlds, fighting against insane odds, while shooting down enemy air forces and ground targets with your Supa-Shootas while unlocking new weapons and upgrading your plane to become the most “dead killy” Flyboy around.
