1000 points of Seraphon

Hey guys, I am helping a buddy get into the hobby, and I out together a list for him based off of the start collecting set. With this list he will need a second SC set and a starpriest. Is this at least decent?

1 Scar Veteran on Carnosaur 1 Skin Starpriest 3 units of Saurus Knights 1 Troglodon The battalion for the knights + scar veteran

That puts him at 980. I know relatively nothing about the Seraphon, but tried my best.

I kind of wish that I was starting a collectors set. It seems like a much more exciting venture than anything I got going on.
