Gameplay Trailer Revealed For Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 was first revealed to the press in December of 2021. It’s been mostly quiet since then, but today during the Warhammer Skulls streaming event we got some violent new footage of the gameplay in this third-person shooter.
The first Space Marine game was released in 2011 and introduced the world to Ultramarine Captain Titus. The first game was developed by Relic Entertainment, but for the sequel, the job has been handed to Saber Interactive.
Titus once again takes center stage in the sequel, which pits him against a murderous race of insect-like aliens called the Tyranids. These creatures have invaded an Imperial hive world and will wind up destroying the place if Titus doesn’t intervene. He’s more than willing to do so!
Like the original, Space Marine 2 will be a third-person shooter, though Titus will have plenty of varied weapons at his disposal to get the job done. His arsenal includes automatic guns, swords, and chainsaws, all of which he can whip out at any time to shred the advancing Tyranids.
This trailer didn’t come with a release date for Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, but Saber is promising the wait won’t be much longer. It should be out within 2023 on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
