Warhammer 40K: Organized Play Kits in Stores
If you find long lines at your local store, the culprit is Warhammer! Games Workshop has released the new Warhammer 40K Organized Play Kits and they are available at your corner store.
The new edition of Warhammer 40,000 was recently released and along with it comes an updated kit. This allows stores to run events in which participants can score valuable prizes. There are two ways to organize these programs with the aim of getting your local gaming group or Warhammer 40,000 community involved.
- Tournaments – You can use the packs to run tournaments of Combat Patrol games
- Strike Force games using the Leviathan Tournament Companion
Prizes include free swag, a trophy, and other among other bonuses.
Each Organized Play kit comes with everything that organizers need to conduct one-day tournaments of up to 32 players. Participants will walk away with at least one Core Strategem deck. Nonetheless, the most sought-after prizes are certificates of different awards and a fancy glass ‘Store Champion’ trophy.
In addition to the local stores. Games Workshop has also placed a similar contest with its official games stores. Players can just walk and participate in the championship. Depending on what they are doing you may be able to enroll. After all, they too have a copy of the Organized Play kit.
The studio has provided a list of its official stores that will be participating in the championship programs. It is always important that you inquire as not all shops may offer the same type of tournaments. The stores can use them for Leviathan Tournaments or Combat Patrol Tournaments.
The information was announced via a post on the official Warhammer community. Games Workshop is a publicly traded British games developer and the world’s top miniature game developer. The company has been floated on the UK stock exchange for oer 29 years.
