Inside Warhammer 40k: Malcador the Sigillite
As the world awaited the Horus Heresy, one being stood beside the human emperor during the winds of strife, Malcador the Sigillite. Along with the Emperor of Mankind, he created the great plan that would lead to the creation of the Empire.
While most of us live for the glory and the spotlight, Malcador chose to stay in the shadows. From here he could become a strong support and a friend, and when the Emperor would fight on the battlefields, he would sit on the throne.
According to the story, this humble being lived for more than seven millennia long before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy. His real name is Brahm al-Khadour and is believed to be Perpetual of immense age, wisdom, and psychic power. This power does not seem to be embedded in his old, frail appearance,
Nonetheless, he is a fierce and strong tiger. When the Aurelian backhanded Malcador, sending him flying through the air, Malcador was not even harmed. In reality, such a blow by a Primarch would destroy a Space Marine. This was one of the most impressive shows of his strength.
Although Malcador has undoubtedly done much for the Unification War and the establishment of the Human Empire, one accomplishment stands out above all others. The project is known as the Grey Knights and began with his selection of nine Knights Errant,
These knights were even selected from the sons of Horus as well as the Death Guards. They were trained and equipped with new skills, making them one of the most formidable forces in the Empire. Together they raged a perpetual war against Warhammer 40k Chaos armies.
The legacy of Malcador is written across the Human Empire. Without him, it would not have existed and the Unification Wars would never have started. He has been a friend, partner, and vice-emperor to the human emperor, with all his many titles – First Lord of Terra, Grand Master of Assassins, and Imperial Regent
