Warhammer 40k Is Hiring
The Warhammer 40k Starfield project is recruiting workers to get the new mod off and running. The project which will open on Wednesday requires a massive staff to see complete it.
Although Starfield doesn’t drop until Wednesday, a Warhammer 40k modding project is already recruiting writers, artists, and lore masters.
Known as the ‘Starfield: 41st Millennium’ project, it could take “five to ten years” to complete. Yungsofa, a Warhammer 40k fan, is in charge of the project and is seeking writers, artists, and lore masters to join the team.
As Starfield is based on similar technology to Skyrim and Fallout, there are already a number of mods available for the game. We’re sure this won’t be the only mod aiming to bring Warhammer 40k factions to life.
As a “stay-at-home dad with many hobbies”, Yungsofa has a background in IT and has worked in quality assurance for live events in Las Vegas. Starfield: 41st Millennium will be Yungsofa’s first project.
The mod’s creator prefers not to reveal his real name. Notwithstanding, he has a year’s worth of practice with Papyrus scripting and the Creation Kit modding engine for Bethesda games.
However, A small group already exists. It began as a guild of the online MMO New World and now has three core members focusing on level design, Papyrus coding, and production.
“We’re super new to the scene”, Yungsofa acknowledges, though he adds “I’m talking to a few [veteran modders] right now that have a history in Skyrim mods and Fallout mods”.
If you’re interested in participating, the team is currently looking for lore experts, writers, and artists. You can join the project Discord via this link.
