Warhammer Nagash Is the Sovereign Lord of the Undead
If you have played Warhammer: Age of Sigmar or Warhammer 40k: The Old World, you must have met Nagash. This lesser diety is as evil as he is old and his life story has touched almost everything in Warhammer lore.
It is Nagash, Warhammer’s first necromancer, who is the ultimate puppet master of almost any undead. He is one of the oldest, bitterest, and most dangerous villains throughout the entire Warhammer fantasy world.

As one of the oldest and most influential characters in Warhammer fantasy, Nagash created the undead by using his ultra-powerful magic. While he has been killed, destroyed, or otherwise defeated several times, he has always returned one way or another, whether through his own necromantic fail-safes or spells cast by others to summon him.
The climb of Nagash is not an easy one. He is one of those creatures that has been through hell. Throughout his life, he has taken many forms. He has been born as a mortal human; then he died as an undead lich; then he died again at the hand of Sigmar, then he came back as the Incarnate of Shyish. He now serves as one of the Winds of Magic, helping to foretell the End Times to come.
His power is unmatched by anyone else in the Age of Sigmar. As a renegade demigod of Death, he takes the form of a massive, black-armored skeleton, with coruscating waves of bones and the power of a wizard.
Moreover, Nagash is an extremely powerful, expensive, and hard-to-field Wizard character in Age of Sigmar. He is regarded as one of the miniature wargame’s first large-scale ‘centerpiece’ minis.
