New Warhammer 40k Necron Overlord
In the Warhammer 40k universe, Games Workshop has revealed a new model of the Necron Overlord with a techno-shroud that allows the model to zip around the battlefield.
There is a new Warhammer 40k Necron Overlord model from Games Workshop that shows off a new piece of wargear for the unit. The Overlord is sculpted to move out of reality with a ‘translocation shroud’
In October 2023, Warhammer Community revealed a new model for the Warhammer 40k Necrons faction called Overlord. The kit has not yet been released.
In fact, the Warhammer 40k model itself is highly detailed. It stands with arms folded, covered in swirling wisps. It’s certainly a very original take on the kit, but we think it’ll be as controversial as it is popular and has just as many detractors as supporters.
The Translocation Shroud is unclear at the moment, whether it will be added to the existing Overlord unit or whether it will be seen as an entirely new unit. The Warhammer Community can tell us how it will work, however.
In addition, the Translocation Shroud lets the Overlord, and the unit it’s embedded within, move 6 inches when they advance. They can also pass through terrain and other units, just like a spooky ghost.
We have seen more Necron models in recent weeks. On October 14, GW revealed a new Imotekh the Stormlord in conjunction with Warhammer Day. Likewise, the Sautekh Dynasty’s leader, swaddled in his teleportation magic, is a dashy dresser in a bug-covered cloak.
We are in countdown mode for the upcoming Necron codex, due in Winter 2023. Though no release date for the Warhammer 40k codex has been given, we can assume it will come just after the Adeptus Mechanicus codex arrives.
Warhammer 49k has been adding tons of new personalities, and updating powers and tactics to army units. The rule books will be co,omg soon to help us play better.
