Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader Is the 2nd Highest-grossing Game on Steam
After a solid week of gameplay, Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader has become the 2nd highest-grossing premium game on Steam. The game has moved into the second-place ranking after over 45,000 concurrent players. the game also ranks in third place when Steam Deck is included, and in the number five position when free-to-play games are included.
According to Steam’s data, Steam Deck ranked as the top-grossing product from December 5-12. It is followed by two major free-to-play games, Counter-Strike 2 and PUBG. Despite dropping two spots from the previous week, Lethal Company continues to be the platform’s top-grossing game, dominating the charts since its Early Access launch.
The isometric tactical RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, ranked at #5 overall (#2 without free-to-play titles and Steam Deck). Players gave the game positive reviews, with 45,405 concurrent players at its peak.
The Finals, a free-to-play shooter developed by Embrak Studios and published by Nexon, peaked at over 242k concurrent players over the weekend. The game also performed better than Apex Legends and Call of Duty recently.

As of December 7, over 200k copies have been sold of The Day Before, a controversial shooter from Fntastic and Mytona. The game has been refunded nearly half its sales within the first 24 hours after release. In the wake of its poor reception and commercial failure, it was removed from Steam. Earlier this week, Fntastic announced its closure due to a lack of funding.
With the release of patch 2.1, which introduced new content (and the subway system), Cyberpunk 2077 returned to the top 10 and the Phantom Liberty expansion jumped 14 places to #13 overall.
