The Seven Character Origins of Warhammer: Rogue Trader
Warhammer: Rogue Trader is one of the most unique storylines released to the Warhammer franchise. Certain families are selected by the Emperor of Man to expand the empire and its trade. They are granted a special Warrant of Trade with a mandate to explore the frontiers of Imperium space. The special captain is known as a Rogue Trader.
The special trade follows a family dynasty passed down through generations and comes with special privileges and powers. Rogue Traders are exempt from the standard laws of the empire and may interact with aliens, chart new worlds, delve into heresy, and rage war in the name of the empire. What makes them most powerful though, are the Origins.
The Seven Origins of a Rogue Trader
Being a Rogue Trader comes with higher risks but also avails more powers. These Captains are donned with capabilities only seen in the mutants of Marvel. They can expand shield, augment powers and even heal wounds, and boost speed.
These bonus power boosters are called Origins and there are seven of them. A Rogue Trader can only choose one at the onset of the character creation process. Each Origin has different functions but equally imparts one special fighting ability, two characteristics, and two skills.
