Dataminers have discovered evidence of a Warhammer 40K-themed event possibly coming in the future. The researchers discovered a surprising crossover between the franchise on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The recent Season 1 Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone led data miners to discover artwork that suggests a forthcoming collaboration between Call of Duty and Games Workshop.
There are many themed events centered around crossovers between Call of Duty and other popular franchises. Such events are intended to maintain the game’s popularity, just like Fortnite uses the same approach. Modern Warfare 3’s recent The Boys event introduced a new Kill Confirmed mode and cosmetics that players could unlock for a limited time.
New data was discovered during a datamine of MW3 in which Warhammer content was discovered along with maps soon to return. Additionally, artwork for Warhammer was also found, further solidifying the likelihood of a Warhammer 40k collaboration.
With the return of Lion El’Jonson to the ongoing storyline, as well as the release of several new Dark Angels models, the Dark Angels are currently at the center of attention within the 40,000 universe. Adepta Sororitas, or Sisters of Battle, are an all-female group of warriors who worship the Emperor and hunt down heretics and xenos.
