Warhammer 40,000:Darktide to Get Card Game
In September 2024, Warhammer 40,000’s Space Marine series will return after a 13-year absence. However, there have been other Warhammer 40K games to prepare you for the wait. One of them is getting a tabletop adaptation called Darktide: The Card Game, releasing just in time for Space Marine 2.
Developed by Cubicle 7, the card game adaptation of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be released this summer alongside a slew of other Warhammer products. Take part in six missions with up to three other players, all of which see you battling deadly enemies and an Inquisitor who wishes to kill you.
The game includes 260 cards, six boards, and everything else you need to play Darktide: The Card Game. You can play it solo for a shorter adventure, or you can invite others to take part in the quest with you.
While we don’t have any details about price or pre-orders yet, you can get 10 percent off all Warhammer games at Cubicle 7 by entering the code RELICS10 at checkout if you want something similar.
In a way, this is a little different from the typical Warhammer way of playing the game since it’s a card game rather than a figure-based one. Nonetheless, it still gives you the opportunity to play Darktide as well. MTG Online now offers the very popular Warhammer 40,000 Magic The Gathering Commander decks. If you’re a fan of the popular video game, you might feel more comfortable playing it.
There have always been many crossovers between video games and tabletop adventures. With Warhammer, it has been the other way around. The tabletop game has been spun into many video games and even crossover skins with the likes of Warzone.
Darktide: The Card Game will surely find a comfy place with tabletop players, and not necessarily Darktide fans. It is a trending made common in the gaming world.
