ChaosRobie Adds New Mod to Total War
Ahead of Total War: Warhammer 3’s next DLC, legendary modder ChaosRobie has released a phenomenal update to The Old World. Known as one of the best Total War: Warhammer 3 mods, the modder has updated the phenomenal campaign mod. This article looks at what it’s all about.
Firstly, this mod expanded the Old World by adding 457 settlements, possibly expanding the map beyond its boundaries. This was already a huge map, featuring hundreds of settlements and a detailed representation of the Warhammer Fantasy world until update 3.0.

In addition to expanding the map as usual, ChaosRobie added the Realms of Chaos subservient to other places. These include Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh – all added to this campaign. Everything was then ported over from the game’s regular single-player mode. Additional settlements have mostly been added to the Dark Lands, Nehekhara, Araby, the Chaos Wastes, and the Realms of Chaos.
Amazingly, the mod creator has delivered a proof of concept for Creative Assembly’s plan to bring the Realms of Chaos to Immortal Empires. The mod is possible, it works, and it’s awesome.
Because of the large number of AI factions, the mod is getting heavy with long load times, so ChaosRobie invented a solution: There is a sub-mod you can use to annihilate minor factions that are far away from your starting position.
