Warhammer 40K: Launches New ‘Boarding Actions’ Supplement
Get ready to kick doors and clear breaches! Warhammer 40,000 Boarding Actions have returned! It wasn’t that long ago when the Arks of Omen campaign ran. But a lot has changed since then.
The rules from that era made their way into the new edition, but they’re now back in full force. Get ready to dive back into those deadly close combat corridors once again with Boarding Actions!
According to a post on the Warhammer Community, Boarding Action is meant to do exactly that, create unstoppable missions.
“Plunge back into the world of door-to-door firefights and desperate charges with Warhammer 40,000: Boarding Actions, a hefty new compendium rammed with fully updated rules and missions for the current edition. This book refreshes dozens of missions from the Arks of Omen series, including both narrative and competitive options as well as larger multiplayer games for up to four people.”
Warhammer 40K Boarding Actions Is Back Again
The Chaos Knights have never disappeared, but now they are back with a vengeance in a massive book filled with goodies covering every faction in the game. Except for the Imperials, of course.
Despite that, there is a lot of content in it to help you get your army up and running. Each faction has at least two Detachments and they each come with a different subset of enhancements, traps, and units to use to build your lists.
Not surprisingly, Boarding Action will allow you to create a thematic 500+ point list.
“The wide assortment of missions on offer makes good use of the unique Boarding Actions terrain to present tactical challenges found nowhere else. Some are asymmetric, tasking a player with destroying vital infrastructure behind their opponent’s defenses, while others are narrative reenactments that relive pivotal moments from Vashtorr the Arkifane’s fiendish campaign.”
So, just keep your eyes peeled for the Boarding Action is coming soon.
