Henry Cavill Applauds Warhammer 40,000:Space Marine 2

During a visit to a Nottingham Warhammer shop in 2022, Henry Cavil surprised customers, declaring that he was a Warhammer fan. Later that year, it was announced he would star in and produce a new Warhammer series for Amazon.

As reported by PCGamer, Cavil posted about Space Marine 2 on his Instagram account, writing: “This game is the mutt’s….. Seriously, though, they’ve done pretty well eh? I couldn’t complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn’t have the patience to complete it by myself!) which I love!”

He added: “Loving the PvP and am really looking forward to it growing and expanding – It has real potential to be absolutely awesome! Disclaimer: I know nothing about game development so the kind of dreams I have may be rather difficult to implement!”

Henry Cavil Is Still a Big Warhammer Fan

The Space Marine 2 campaign can be played co-operatively, which seems to be the intended way to play on the game’s higher difficulties. Even for Cavil, it’s too much to do alone in the first place.

As soon as the baby is born, Cavil plans to teach his child Warhammer miniature construction and painting. He and Natalie Viscuso announced they are expecting a child together in the near future.

Since its September 9 release, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been well-received by both players and critics. Reviewers called it a “pure, unfiltered video game,” and said, “It’s a gloriously extravagant depiction of the 40k universe, and also a game that feels genuinely next-generational in its presentation.”
