Total War: Warhammer 3 – New Devlog Serves Yogurt
The upcoming Warhammer 3 expansion previews the horrifying truths of ogre audio design. Creative Assembly has released their latest dev vlog with some more details on what to expect from the upcoming expansion for Total War: Warhammer 3.
It hasn’t been decided what the official title will be yet, but it certainly will be unconventional. Just think of former names like Shadows Of Change, Thrones Of Decay, – anything might really go. So, sit tight and expect a good surprise.
The video can be found below in its vast display. What’s interesting about this one is that director Rich Alridge has brought along a few new faces, including battle designer Josh King and audio director Chris Goldsmith.

In order to avoid being accused of burying the lede, let us clarify that the audio design involved the enthusiastic, deeply disgusting slurping of porridge and yogurt and the jangling of real bones. That’s a unique mix that sounds more like Total War.
It all comes down to destruction in Total War: Warhammer 3. With the Ogre Kingdoms, Khorne Legions, and everyone’s favorite green skins, the Orcs, at the core of the upcoming expansion, fans are excited. A new devlog includes a chat with Total War: Warhammer 3 developers about what makes them so visceral. Turns out, it’s yogurt. And bones.
Yes, that’s what it’s all about. Just watch the video above and see if you disagree. No, you won’t.
If you remember, last week, just before Halloween, Total War got some improvements in a new update. According to Bells of Lost Souls, “From reworked recruitment caps to a new bounty system, there’s a lot to love. But it’s not just Ogre Kingdoms that get some attention. Vampire Counts get their Grave Guard with Halberds at last. And everyone gets at least a little tweak.”
So it should not come as a surprise if we get some leftover pumpkins and stuff.
