Owlcat Launches Trailer for Upcoming DLC – Void Shadows
Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader developers Owlcat Games have announced details on the latest update. Patch 1.2 is the biggest update so far and includes incredible changes. There is also a new trailer introducing Void Shadows DLC.
The Void Shadows DLC will introduce the Death Cult, which worships the Emperor through the arts of death and killing. Kibellah, a powerful and successful assassin loyal to the Emperor, will be joining the Lord Captain on this mission.
The Rogue Trader game takes place in the Koronus Expanse, a little-charted region of space. The player, the titular Rogue Trader, is a member of the hegemonic Imperium of Man. Throughout the game, he is given special authorization by the Imperium to conduct trade and exploration.
Fighting on behalf of man, he must make allies, overcome traitors and spies, and complete missions. The isometric RPG is thrown in the Warhammer 40,000 universe and is developed by Owlcat Games.

Patch 1.2 brings more than 2500 visible and internal changes to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, including:
- Changes to game balance – such as a rebalance of out-of-sequence turns, buffs to Sanctioned Psykers and Pyromancy, late game scaling, and more.
- Co-op play – Gamers can play together from the start with up to two additional custom mercenary characters are now available in the Prologue.
- Custom portrait transfer – save file size reduction, desync fixes.
- Quality of Life improvements include improved inventory sorting, tooltips, level up screen,s and quest markers on star systems.
- Updated pathing of NPCs, improved NPC appearance, cover placement, and more.
- New dialogue for secret companions, fixes for epilogue slides, and fixes on existing dialogue.
- Rumor zones are now highlighted on the map.
- Animations: Improved and additional animations in cutscenes.
- Visual Effects: A variety of new visual effects for abilities, including auras, creatures, and more.
- New item icons.
- Languages: Improvements across all languages.
- A huge amount of bug fixes.
