New Daemon Princes in Battletome: Slaves to Darkness
An interesting prelude to a recent blog post on the Warhammer Community states “The Slaves to Darkness are one of the most formidable fighting forces in all the Mortal Realms. Their vast legions are made up of the Darkoath tribes that worship the Ruinous Power in all but name, armored veterans that serve Archaon the Everchosen, and the secretive cells pledged to Be’lakor, the First Prince.”
Although you can create an army to represent any of these factions in Battletome: Slaves to Darkness, and Be’lakor is given his own army of renown full of daemons, the mortal followers of the Dark Gods have undergone significant alterations from their faction pack. Although Eye of the Gods remains the main Battle Trait, you are now required to select one non-unique Hero to be the object of the gods’ blazing gaze.
This champion gains d3 Apotheosis Points each time they appease the gods with a Fight ability; if they have the Deathmonger Heroic Trait and can fight twice, they receive 2d3 points. If they are outside of your area and contesting an objective after your turn, they will receive an extra d3 points.

You can either transform into a towering Daemon Prince with the same improvements and Pledge to Chaos as the original hero, or you can cash in eight points to undergo a Dark Apotheosis, bursting with strength as the gods bestow an Aura of Chaos that heals and offers a Ward (5+).
You might wonder what a Pledge to Chaos is. Let us whisper in your ear some sinister promises. A Slaves to Darkness unit can obtain a passive advantage that lasts the remainder of the fight by swearing their mortal soul to one of the four Chaos Gods once every turn. For example, fighters who have pledged to Slaanesh can add an extra dice to their charge rolls, while those who have pledged to Khorne get an extra attack.
