So when we got asked by the Warhammer Merch team if we wanted a review copy of the Space Marine 2 Custom Controller for Xbox, I figured “sure — why not?!” I’ve never had a “fancy” Xbox controller even though I’ve had lots of them in the past. Maybe a nice custom one would be cool. Well the package arrived and I’m here to take a look at this one with you!
Why Do You Need a Space Marine 2 Custom Controller?
Reading through the article, there is no clear explanation as to why players purchase custom items. However, it may be a collectors thing or at most, a personal leaning that they must be unique. So, play Space Marine 2 with its controller, then throw it aside to play Apex Legends with its custom controller.
BOLS wrote that “Other than the impressive art on the top and the texture it’s a regular Xbox controller.” And it’s hard to disagree with the author. All the fancy descriptions aside, it’s just another controller. Unless we can believe that it somehow hon in on the characters in a special way that others do not.
Furthermore, the post brings out a good tip. This is perfect for gifts. So if you have friends or family who dig gaming, this is a great choice.
It’s a nice controller for sure! I don’t think this is a purchase everyone is going to want to rush out and make however. While the art is cool, if you’re like me, this feels like a luxury item that you probably wouldn’t pick-up on your own. It would be an awesome gift from a friend or family member(albeit an expensive one).
