They join the other three factions that will constitute the entire expansion of this update. the game is set to release on Nover 17, 2023.
The factions are:
- Disciples Of Tzeentch
- Stormcast Eternals
- Orruk Kruleboyz
- Nighthaunt.
A long-range debuffer lad that fires fireballs at you just before splitting into newer, bluer forms on defeat. These fleshy Pink Horrors sound like they might just cause havoc in Realms Of Ruin’s multiplayer modes.
In a similar manner to a Pokemon chain, they will eventually turn into exploding brimstone boys. There will also be airborne Tzaangor Skyfires. However, the Master Of Change himself will be the most powerful unit in the Disciples army, capable of opening gateways to chaos.
The trailer also shows off Frontier’s unit customization capabilities. They thoroughly illustrate how you can customize all of your armies in the game, as well as the map editor. You can construct your own multiplayer maps and share them with friends. These maps can also function as diorama stages to pose units.
A few of these features were demonstrated during Frontier’s Realms Of Ruin talk this year at EGX. This includes terrain options that allow you to level or raise the ground. Another neat feature is symmetry lines that make each side of the map identical.
During the Steam Next Fest demo, Realms Of Ruin placed in the top 50 most played games of the event. Valve announced this week that the demo included the first three missions of the single-player campaign and introduced all three previously announced factions.
Additionally, Frontier announced yesterday it planned to lay off staff, cut spending, and freeze hiring based on “disappointing financial performance.” With such news, all eyes are now on Realms Of Ruin to turn Frontier’s fortunes around.
