The Skaventide Large Boxed Set Is a Mind Boggling Evil
Just looking at the Skaventide large boxed set is enough to get you wondering what is inside it. You might even conclude “Sure, there’s going to be a lot there.” However, you may be underestimating just how many monsters it contains. 50 rats. 24 Stormtides. 74 miniatures.
To get a bit more specific, there are five Stormcast heroes on the side of the Stormcasts. Plus, ten Liberators, three Reclusians and Memorians, and three Prosecutors. There is a Lord-Vigilant on Gryph-Staker, a Lord-Terminos and Memorian, a Lord-Veritant on Gryph-vrow, and a Knight-Questor.
Meanwhile, Skaven gets a Claw-lord on Gnaw-Beast, a Grey Seer, a Warlock Engineer, a Ratling Warpblaster, 3 Warplock Jezzails, 3 Rat Ogres, and 40 Clanrats.
The Skaventide Large Boxed Set Is Available
Despite the new Edition, everything you need to play the game is included in the 227-page Core Rulebook. The book comes neatly tucked away in the boxed set. Usually, it can be challenging for new players so it is recommended to inquire from seasoned players in the Warhammer Community.
In addition, this new book contains all the Core and Advanced rules, the First Blood battlepack, and the Path to Glory battlepack. You can also find tons of new lore and a fold-out cosmology of the Mortal Realms.
Furthermore, players should remember that Age of Sigmar is also launching a new game mode. In Skaventide, you can also find Spearhead: Fire and Jade, a 144-page book introducing Spearhead, Age of Sigmar’s new game mode. Read it well, learn the twists and turns, and master the game.
Finally, getting started with minis is never easy. however, there are sufficient Stormcast and Skaven minis to build Spearhead forces from them. For everything else, you can always reference to the Spearhead rules included in the boxed set.
