Trailer – Games Workshop’s New Darktide Board Game

Have you ever wished Warhammer 40,000: Darktide had a tabletop version? Games Workshop has answered your wish with its new Darktide board game – but whatever you’ve imagined is probably cooler.

In particular, the miniatures are recycled from other Warhammer releases rather than being specially sculpted for the videogame, giving the box an uncanny valley quality. Those are traitor guardsmen, but they aren’t quite Moebian 21st century.

A better paint job would do wonders for the four heroes, who embody the roles of Ogryn, Psyker, Veteran, and Zealot. Half of them have weapons that don’t appear in the game.
