Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Adds PS5 and PS4
The Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters game, released last month, is set for a 20th February release on PS5 and PS4. Players can purge pestilent Nurgle cultists with flame, bolter, and fury while engaging in tense tactical battles
It consists of a strategic overarching campaign map with turn-based deployments where every decision has lasting consequences. Daemonhunters is a brilliant, modern twist on XCOM. The gritty 40K setting makes it a perfect recommendation for Warhammer fans in particular. Released in 2022 on PC, it has mostly positive reviews on Steam and should be on the radar of PlayStation gamers.
Essentially, this game replaces soldiers with Space Marines (specifically, Grey Knights) and relatively cute aliens with the cult members of Nurgle. Close-quarters combat is emphasized, which makes it both thrilling and appropriate for the setting of the game.
Command the Baleful Edict to remove the corrupting Bloom from the Tartarus System. Deploy squads of highly customizable, heavily outnumbered Space Marines and Terminators to burn it out. Meanwhile, you must keep your ship in working order and upgrade it, along with your daemon-busting warriors, in line with increasing difficulty levels.
Warhammer fans, especially those who are fans of the Grey Knights chapter of the iconic Space Marines, can now purchase Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters ahead of its launch; if you preorder the game, you’ll get the following bonuses:
- A 15% discount on the price of Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters
- Exclusive Relics of Titan items, including the Domina Liber Daemonica Tome and Destroyer of Crys’yllix hammer
On consoles, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is available as a Standard Edition for $44.99 or an enhanced Purifier Edition for $49.99. If you upgrade, an additional character will be unlocked. Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters’ Purifier Edition includes the base game as well as the unique playable character Castellan Garran Crowe. Castellan Garran Crowe wields the Black Blade of Antwyr.
