Warhammer 40K: Necromunda – New Units
Necromunda explores the Ruins of Jardlan and welcomes new reinforcements next week. The Aranthian succession is brought to a head with the Ruins of Jardlan.
A wave of new miniatures to bring the Ash Wastes to your gaming table. Whether you want powered armor with jump boosters, or unsanctioned psykers with cybernetic squids, you have come to the right place.
With the Aranthian Succession coming to an end in the Ruins of Jardlan, Necromunda is going through it all. Revolutions are gathering steam. The planet is ablaze. And in the end, will the gate of the Imperial House be forever closed?
There is 45 pages of lore in this book, and a new faction, ‘The Fall of Helmawr’, that will be added to the Aranthian Succession campaign. There are also new rules for Van Saar, Enforcers, Ironhead Squat Prospectors, and new vehicles for each.
They carry plasma guns and harpoon launchers that keep them prepared for any foe, like the new Ash Wastes Arachni-Rigs. These wasteland variants of the Vam Saar Arachni-Rigs possess jump boosters to bring their heavy firepower to bear even faster.
Necromunda is home to the Mind-locked Wyrds, unsanctioned psykers who serve the Psi Syndica and by extension, House Delaque. Also new are the Cephalopod Spektors, cybernetic watchdogs built using fragmented brains from their bonded masters.
This kit includes 30 different components, including new backpacks, heads, flasks, and backpacks for House Van Saar.
In February 2023, Wargamer reported an update of the game with robots.
”The Warhammer 40k Necromunda skirmish game is getting a clanking new robot model, the ‘Sanctioner’ Pattern Automaton for the Enforcers gang. The plastic kit was revealed on the Warhammer Community website on Monday, with pictures of the supposedly ‘non-lethal’ weapons you can equip the peace-keeping droid with.”
However, it will seem this faction is no longer a peace keeping force.
