Game developer, Owlcat Games has announced the release date for the upcoming MMORPG, Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. The game is set to launch worldwide this December 7th for PC, Mac, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. A new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader‘s release date trailer is below.
The Rogue Trader is a role-playing game based on Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40k universe. With the Emperor’s blessing, you are given a void ship that can transverse its systems and pursue a wide range of quests and whims.
In addition, you may choose between loyalty to the Emperor or later betraying him. Likewise are the future results. You may gain many companions with unique stories and engage in turn-based combat. On the other hand, you may also lose these friends if you betray the Emperor. So, it is really an amazing game plot.
With meaningful player choices, players can impact how the story unfolds. Players will recruit a variety of unique companions to their crew, including a Space Marine from the Space Wolves chapter.
Notably, these companions will help the rogue trader with a variety of skills and abilities. Players will be able to develop relationships with their companions and learn about their backgrounds. Successful missions will earn rewards that can be used to upgrade the player’s ship and crew.
Despite Rogue Trader‘s main focus on a single-player campaign, the developer has confirmed it will feature a co-op mode. Players will be able to play with a buddy on PC at launch, and on consoles later.
