Warhammer Day: Battleforce Boxes Announced For 40k And AoS
Games Workshop has revealed the Battleforces coming to Warhammer 40k and AoS for this holiday season. It’s Games Workshop’s tradition to reveal some new Battleforce Boxes for each game, so this year’s is no different.
According to the Bell of Lost Souls blog post, each box is unique and offers either miniature or character.
Each box features a good spread of miniatures as well as a main “focal point” miniature or character, too. Additionally, GW did something pretty smart with these boxes as well. They are designed work with the Combat Patrols boxes to really make a solid overall army. There’s a little bit of overlap between them — but in a good way. Additionally, these boxes are also designed to lean into specific detachments within their respective armies.

the Christmas battleforces are usually quite good value (christmas is the ultimate opportunity to get people hooked on “loss leader” armies). However, modern GW pricing is starting to get through the roof and I won’t be surprised if you’re right
