Warhammer Franchise Review
Warhammer is a miniature tabletop wargame created around a medieval battle setting but includes fantasy elements such as wizards and dragons. The game was released in 1982 by the Workshop company.
The game takes about 20 minutes to set up and must be played by at least two players. All models of the game are created by the studio and moved away from using generic elements created by third parties. The outcome of battles is decided by the use of dice and players take turns for each play.
The company has changed the product name about four times, using names such as Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, and finally Warhammer.

Inside the Warhammer Game
The Warhammer Universe is completely fictional and draws on inspiration from Michael Moorcock’s Elric stories. However, the world resembles the Earth. These were adjusted by the Old Ones who traveled there in the past.
Warhammer is based upon many armies, each representing a tribe. In the first few editions, the armies were presented in the novels, Warhammer Armies. Later on, a rulebook was released for each army.
Finally, the game also divides it magic into regions known as lores. There are eight lores and are available to empires.
