Xenos Kill Teams – Face the Most Cunning and Resourceful Alien
In the vast galaxy of the 41st Millennium, countless species and civilizations are battling for survival. Some are fledglings, like the T’au Empire, while others, like the Necrons, have existed for millennia. Where do the Xenos Kill Teams fit in all this?
These species all battle for resources and territory, and each has its own approach to war. This ranges from large armies engaging in apocalyptic battles to small, covert teams of elite operatives sent into dangerous areas for reasons too numerous to mention.
The teams have their own faction rules, custom equipment, and ploys that represent their approach. Following innumerable conversations with xenobiologists, the Warhammer Community has compiled a brief overview of Xenos Kill Teams teams and how they battle.
Who Are the Xenos Kill Teams?
It is difficult to imagine a universe without the Orks, who are reckless, confrontational, and unimaginably rowdy. These green-skinned warmongers thrive on straightforward scraps, which makes the Kommandos all the more extraordinary. According to the community blog post
They are deployed by Warlords who understand that some missions require Gork’s strength to be tempered by Mork’s cunning – but they still pack an almighty wallop.
Kommandos have earned a reputation as brutal Throat Slittas, renowned for their ability to repress the urge to charge into combat at the first sight of the enemy, instead advancing under cover until they can guarantee their knife will taste blood.
In addition to their well-crafted clothing and weaponry, these cunning Orks use a hefty Harpoon which can stun enemy operatives, reducing their APL by 1 if a critical success is rolled. They are just as brutal, however, thrashing enemies with a yell of Krump ‘Em!
A type of carnivorous bird, the Kroot serves as an auxiliary force of the T’au Empire. They will dispatch the Farstalker Kinbands ahead of them as scouts seeking new employers, a versatile group of warriors who specialize in hunting. Read the complete guide at the Warhammer Community blog.
