Warhammer Rolls Out Holiday Battle Force Packages
It’s finally Christmas again. Time for tradition, sharing, and Warhammer holiday special boxes. Still in October but those warfaring miniatures want to have an early mistletoe.
For this year’s Christmas shoppers, Games Workshop has unveiled six Warhammer 40k battle force bundles, each filled with enough models for a small army. The battleforces were announced by Warhammer Community on Monday, although the post only says that they “will be available to pre-order soon” without providing a specific time or cost.
Since it is our time of surprise, we should not even worry about what or who is inside the box. Yet, since you have been good lads this year, here goes the story. Space Marines, Astra Militarum, World Eaters, Orks, Leagues of Votann, and Tyranids are the six fortunate Warhammer 40k factions to get battle force packages this year. As a starting point for a new Warhammer 40k army, we can’t say how these compare to 40k Combat Patrols until we know the prices, but they’re almost always a fantastic deal.
So, there you go, Santa wants you to get those boxes early this year just in case they get sold out again. Remember last year? By early December, there were no more boxes left and Games Workshop had to remake a few. So, go ahead and grab a box or two – send me the other.
Thought about purchasing one of these as a holiday gift or as a treat for yourself, but were put off by the idea of spending every free moment for the ensuing several months painting miniatures? To expedite your painting process, you can find tons of guides to using contrast paints and alternatives. You may also look at listings for the finest airbrush for miniatures to complete base coat, vehicle painting, and shading quickly.
Games Workshop may be Santa this year.
