Realms of Ruin to Get New Hero DLCs
There will be two new Hero DLCs for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin on March 20 as well as a free update for all players with new multiplayer, skirmish, and conquest maps, balancing, and quality enhancements including squad stances.
It is Kurdoss Valentian, The Craven King, who exerts his dire presence over the battlefields of Ghur in order to silence enemy squads and disrupt the command of foes. With the Sepulchral Sceptre, The Craven King wields death upon the enemy while silently drifting across the Nighthaunt ranks.
The Gaunt Summoner allows players to embrace the twisted trickery of Tzeentch, raining devastation from afar and tearing through reality itself to unleash the fury of summoned demons. With powerful spells and arcane abilities, they have reshaped the battlefield and turned the tide of battle to their advantage.
Notably, there are two playable heroes in the game, both of whom can be used in AI Skirmish, Multiplayer, and Conquest Mode to introduce new abilities to the game. Players can swap out their default hero units, allowing them to adjust their overall strategy in the game.
For a suggested retail price of £3.99/$4.99/€4.99, each Hero DLC will be available individually, or as part of a bundle for £6.99/$8.99/€8.99. You will need the base game Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin in order to download and play this new content.
Moreover, players will be able to enjoy a free update that will provide new maps, balancing, and quality of life improvements, including greater autonomy to battlefield management through the introduction of two new squad positions.
A unit in the ‘Engage’ stance will automatically attack units within range and retreat once the enemy is dispatched, whereas a unit in the ‘Hold’ stance will be fixed to their position in a defensive manner while not engaging the enemy.
