Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 Gameplay Trailer Released

Precisely one year ago, Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2 was revealed at The Game Awards. We’ve heard nothing since then, until now — The Game Awards just happened again and with them came a second trailer for the game.

We get our first real gameplay footage with this trailer. The first game was developed by Relic Entertainment, but for the sequel, the job has been handed to Saber Interactive.

The first Space Marine game was released in 2011 and introduced the world to Ultramarine Captain Titus. Titus once again takes center stage in the sequel, which pits him against a murderous race of insect-like aliens called the against the Tyranids. These creatures have invaded an Imperial hive world and will wind up destroying the place if Titus doesn’t intervene. He’s more than willing to do so!

Like the original, Space Marine 2 will be a third-person shooter, though Titus will have plenty of varied weapons at his disposal to get the job done. He’s shown bashing and mashing hordes of Tyranids to bloody bits with clubs and swords.

There is still no definite release day for Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2, but we have a release YEAR now…expect it sometime within 2023 on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
