Warhammer 40k: Darktide to Launch The Traiyor Curse
Fatshark is getting ready for its anniversary celebrations and is sending a two phases update to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide: The update is known as ‘The Traitor Curse’ and will go live in two parts in celebration of the franchise first birthday.
As part of the first anniversary celebration, Fatshark has announced The Traitor Curse, a two-part update with a new zone, a new mission, and more.
The update for Darktide will take place in two parts. The first part will be released later this month, and the second part will be released in December before the holidays.
In the first part, you’ll find a whole new zone, The Carnival, where you’ll find a whole lot of “transgressive distractions and entertainment.”
In order to take out the Moebian 6th, you’ll need to root them out and battle the hordes of enemies over in the Mercantile area of The Carnival.
Several quality-of-life updates will also be included in the update, including the ability to inspect other players in the Mourningstar. This should help everyone know if their teammates are up to the task.
There will also be a reset of the Veteran talent tree. A new tree will be created, and Keystones will be added. If you log in after the update and notice your talent tree has been reset, this is why.
The first part of the game will be out by the end of November, but you’ll have to reassign all your talent points before exploring the seedy new zone. Fatshark promises there’ll be more information on the second part by the end of the month.
