Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Releases Patch 1.0.1
Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader has received its first update in Patch 1.0.1 as Owlcat Studios responds to players’ feedback on Steam. The update became the first hotfix since the game launched early this month. Players have posted several complaints of glitches found during gameplay, most of which seem to have been addressed with the patch.
The team also laid out plans to release several new patches over the ensuing months with which they plan to bring the game closer to completion. Players may keep abreast of the continued progress of these updates and glitches by visiting the Steam discussion.
Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Update 1.0.1 – Patch Notes
- DLC Sharing: The host now shares their DLCs with the clients automatically – you no longer need an exactly matching set of DLCs to play.
- Chapter V Black Screen: Fixed the black screen after the cutscene in Chapter V. The screen continues as normal during gameplay.
- Disappearing Text: Fixed disappearing texts in dialogues and descriptions that were caused by font size options resetting to 0. Players can enjoy open dialogue with added emojis
- Camera Exhibition Issues: Fixed camera rotation and camera movement speed resetting to 0 – you may need to set it back to the preferred value once after the patch. Once you have made the adjustments, the camera will function normally.
- Subtitle Display: Subtitles in interchapter videos are now shown correctly.
- Bug Report Icon: As per your requests, the bug report icon will no longer be visible on the screen all the time.
- Major update to Chinese localization.
- Enemy Response Behavior: Fixed the behavior of enemies when they run away from the character in battle which could cause the battle to be stuck.
- Fixed Cassia’s face mutations.
Most of these adjustments were made after players reported the errors found during gameplay. Owlcat has shown its ability to respond to its fan base and provide timely customer service.
