Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin Goes to Humble Choice
Despite Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin’s poor reviews and disappointing sales last November 2023, it’s a wonderful Warhammer RTS. Right now, you can get its $75 Ultimate Edition for free (or extremely cheaply) with March’s Humble Choice
There is a monthly subscription fee of $11.99 (£8.99) for Humble Choice, which offers a bundle of games worth at least $289 each month. The membership platform provides new packages along with discounts on other games in the Humble Store, and occasional member perks.
Notably for this March 2024, the free-to-keep games are:
- Age of Sigmar Realms of Ruin Ultimate Edition
- Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition
- Saints Row (2022)
- Citizen Sleeper
- Black Skylands
- Soulstice
- Afterimage
- Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter
If you’d like, you can sign up for a one-month subscription for $12, get Realms of Ruin and seven other PC games free, and then get rid of the subscription at any time. Alternatively, you can join for a one-month subscription for $12, receive seven free PC games, and then cancel at any time.
There’s no doubt that Realms of Ruin deserves some of the criticism it received upon release – it’s not an old-school RTS game, but it’s not trying to be either. It’s a slower-paced, Dawn of War style strategy game that does an excellent job of representing the Age of Sigmar armies.
The real value of Realms of Ruin isn’t in the price, but it really can’t be beaten for a fraction of the price. If you’re a fan of Warhammer fantasy games, now’s the time to get your hands on the game for a fraction of the price. The game will be available until March 31, 2024.
This is a real-time strategy game developed by Frontier Developments in collaboration with Games Workshop and based on Warhammer: Age of Sigmar miniature wargame. It was released on November 17, 2023, for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
