Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin to Launch Two hero DLCs
According to Frontier Developments, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin will receive two Hero DLCs next week. The studio identified them as Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork; and Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear.
The studio explained that the DLCs will become available at different schedules. The first DLC Hero Pack will include the Stormcast Eternals champion Yndrasta, and players can get ready to purchase. The second will feature the devious Orruk Kruleboyz shaman Gobsprakk.
There will be new playable units, each with their unique abilities. These units can be used in Skirmish, Multiplayer, and the Solo Conquest mode.
Notably, there will be Yndrasta and Gobsprakk replacing either the Lord-Celestant or Killaboss on Gnashtoof. This will allow you to make adjustments to your approach. The former is a powerful flying hero armed with her legendary spear, Thengevar. As for the latter, he is a Kruleboyz aerial unit Swampcalla shaman who flies over the battlefield on his Corpse-rippa Vulcha, Killabeak.
While their armies are reshaped, Orruk Kruleboyz commanders will introduce the Gobsprakk, The Mouth of Mork. This first aerial unit soars over the battlefield raining destruction on his foes and offering new mobility in Ghur’s battle-worn landscapes.
The good news for Warhammer 40K fans is that both Hero Pack DLCs will be coming to Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin on December 11, 2023. They can be purchased separately for $4.99/£3.99/€4.99 each, or in a bundle for $8.99/£6.99/€8.99.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin – Ultimate Edition includes both Hero DLCs, which retail for $74.99. Each Hero DLC can be purchased separately for $4.99, or in a bundle (See above). You will need a copy of the base game to play these DLCs.
Also on February 27, 2024, there will be a physical edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin bundled with both Hero Packs for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
