New Warhammer Preview Stream Coming This Week
A new Warhammer preview stream is set to launch this week with Games Workshop promising an unforgettable livestream. The preview will share “miniature reveals” alongside upcoming Black Library books. The studio has begun the expansion of lore and storylines and is rumored to have new factions and worlds.
This year’s Warhammer preview stream will focus on the Black Library novel releases in 2024. Yet, Games Workshop says “miniature reveals” will be featured along with “author interviews”. These author digests will most likely be streamed live, as is customary of the studio.
According to an article posted on GW’s Warhammer Community website on Monday, the preview rolls out this week. The Black Library Warhammer Preview will be streamed on the Warhammer Twitch channel on Saturday, December 9.
In addition to a look at the upcoming Warhammer fiction releases in 2024 there will be at least one new model reveal/ The studio says its stream will also feature interviews and insight from Black Library authors. One can assume that these are writers with new books coming soon.
Among the authors in that list are:
- John French, author of the Horus Heresy series of books,
- Jude Reid, author of the Warhammer Crime series,
- Mike Brooks, author of the Orks-POV novel Brutal Kunnin
- Guy Haley, and Marc Collins.
These writers have created much for other Warhammer publications For example, Collins and Haley have contributed entries to the Dawn of Fire series, which follows Roboute Guilliman’s reclamation wars.
Another case for high expectations is the new release. What will it be? Faction, creature, armory? There’s no telling which models we might see released during the livestream on Saturday. Games Workshop is known for creating one-off miniatures for each of its major book releases in the past.
For example, Captain Uriel Ventris from Dan Abnett’s classic Ultramarines series, or Astra Militarum Commissar Severina Raine from Rachel Harrison’s latest novels. You can never be sure with Warhammer.
